JANITOR (PART TIME)
Location: AZ – 101 Orchard Ridge Drive, Gaithersburg, MD 20878
Schedule
Part‑time schedule. Days may vary, 5:00 pm – 9:30 pm.
Pay
Fixed Pay Rate: $18.18 per hour.

Job Summary
Keeps buildings clean and orderly. Performs heavy cleaning duties, including cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.
Responsibilities
- Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
- Dust and damp‑mop floors following approved procedures.
- Move equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and return furniture to correct placement.
- Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment; sanitize all surfaces.
- Follow the eight‑step cleaning procedure.
- Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete the task.
- Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
- Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines.
- Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors; shampoo carpet.
- Contribute to the team and exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow employees, and others.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
