Clean offices, bathrooms, locker rooms, outside of plant and all other assigned areas. Essential Job Functions: Ability to work safely and adhere to all safety rules and regulationsRegular and on-time attendanceCommunicate effectively; Verbally and in writing with other departmentsFollow Standard Operating ProceduresSweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs for the plant and office space. Keeps glass clean in the lobby and office. Empties trash, garbage containers, and recycling containers. Maintains building including office and plant break rooms, Bathrooms, Locker rooms, performing minor routine painting when needed. Maintains the outside of the facility including parking lots. Reports inventory to the clerk, including cups, paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap and janitorial supplies. Notifies management concerning needed repairs including lighting, plumbing and electrical damage. Cleans debris from sidewalk. Empties cigarette containers. Helps clerk move files to the storage area. All other duties as assigned. Other Duties and Responsibilities: Performs miscellaneous assignments as directed. Critical Demands: Squat, kneel, bend over or stoop frequently to perform job duties. Reach or extend forward for long periods of time to perform job duties. Ability to read and comprehend written materials such as schedules, SOPs, EOPs, work rules, etc. Ability to comprehend and follow oral instructions. Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Walk or stand for extended periods of time. Stamina to work in extreme temperatures. Ascend and descend stairs to reach work areas. Communicate verbally or in writing with others. Use of respirator required while performing some job functions. Qualifications Job Requirements: High school level reading and writing, visual acuity to read labels, documents and instructions. Ability to work in an industrial or warehouse environment with forklifts, drum trucks, etc. Ability to safely operate small manual and electric hand tools.
