JANITOR (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)
About the role
SSC is hiring for full-time and part-time JANITOR positions at Beebe Schools located at 1201 West Center Street, Beebe, AR 72012. Additional openings are available at other locations within the school district.
Responsibilities
- Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
- Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
- Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and places furniture back in correct placement.
- Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment.
- Sanitizes all surfaces.
- Fulfills the eight-step cleaning procedure.
- Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment.
- Seeks out areas requiring cleaning and completes the task.
- Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
- Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines.
- Strips, scrubs, buffs, and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet.
- Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees, and others.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Prior cleaning and/or custodial experience is a plus.
Qualifications
Full and part-time schedules; Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to 10:30 pm. More details upon interview.

Pay
$11.25 per hour to $12.25 per hour.
