JANITOR (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)
About the role
SSC is hiring immediate full-time and part-time JANITOR positions at Old High Middle School located at 406 Northwest 2nd Street, Bentonville, AR 72712. Additional openings are available within the school district.
Responsibilities
- Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
- Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
- Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and places furniture back in correct placement.
- Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment.
- Sanitizes all surfaces.
- Fulfills the eight-step cleaning procedure.
- Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment.
- Seeks out areas requiring cleaning and completes the task.
- Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
- Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines.
- Strips, scrubs, buffs, and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet.
- Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees, and others.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Previous janitorial experience is preferred, but not required.

Pay
$15.50 per hour to $16.00 per hour
Schedule
Full time and part time schedules; Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. More details upon interview. (Full and Part Time with the flexibility to meet most scheduling needs)

Job Summary
The JANITOR position involves keeping buildings clean and orderly.
