Janitor/ Custodian - Floater

About the role

This position's general responsibilities will be to perform general cleaning inside buildings, exterior grounds and walkways. Responsible for performing janitorial duties as outlined in the service scope for each location assigned.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of flooring and stairs.

• Reabastecer los suministros en baños, salas de descanso y áreas comunes.
• Vacíe todos los botes de basura y reemplace los revestimientos, limpie los recipientes según sea necesario.

• Limpieza de alféizares y ventanas.
• Mantenga los armarios de los conserjes de manera limpia, organizada y segura.
• Mantenga el equipo de limpieza en condiciones limpias, seguras y operativas.
• Usar el equipo de protección personal adecuado en todo momento.
• Limpieza general de los terrenos.
• Otras tareas básicas de limpieza rutinarias asignadas.

Qualifications

• Six months or more related experience.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift objects (trash bags) up to 50 pounds, ability to lift and carry objects weighing from 15 to 25 pounds, frequent bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head, walking in throughout the building and around area with great frequency, ability to climb stairways safely and without limitation, dexterity in eye/hand coordination, feet (foot pedals), manual (picking, pinching, holding, grasping), and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation).
• Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours.
• Frequent walking, standing, stooping, reaching and bending for more than 4 hours at a time.
• Repetitive movement for up to 4 hours at a time involving the shoulder, hands, knees, hips and back (both upper and lower).
