About the role

We are currently seeking a compassionate person to join our talented team as a Janitorial Technician. This is a full-time position, Sunday through Thursday.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all interior and exterior areas of our campus are attractive, clean, and well-maintained.
• Exterior duties:
  • Walk outside daily to ensure sidewalks, landscaping, entryways, and parking lots are free of debris, litter, and dog waste.
  • Monitor garbage and recycling areas on campus.
  • Clean windows, remove cobwebs, and remove snow and/or ice.
• Interior duties:
  • Maintain a “white glove” standard of presentation in all office and common areas.
  • Strip, wax, and buff floors.
  • Clean carpets.
  • Sanitize kitchen and lavatory facilities.
  • Maintain the swimming pool (chemicals, temperature, and cleanliness).
  • Empty garbage receptacles.
  • Assist with housekeeping duties as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience maintaining and cleaning swimming pools.
• “Can do” attitude and passion for maintaining a five-star site appearance.
• Willingness to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English to effectively communicate with residents and team members.
• Physical ability to perform tasks requiring continuous walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
• Ability to lift and work with up to 50 pounds throughout a shift using proper lifting techniques.
• Maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff, and visitors.

Pay

Wage is $20.29 to $21.23 per hour, DOE.

Schedule

Full-time, Sunday through Thursday.
