Janitor

About the role

We’re looking for a reliable Janitor to help keep our property clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and visitors. As part of the Maintenance team, you’ll be responsible for the daily upkeep of common areas, grounds, and building facilities, ensuring everything is well-maintained and presentable.

Responsibilities

• Pick up trash and maintain the cleanliness of the property each day.
• Clean hallways, entrances, stairwells, elevators, laundry rooms, and other common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and wash surfaces throughout the building.
• Replace light bulbs and assist with minor building maintenance tasks.
• Work alongside outside contractors and suppliers as needed.
• Assist with emergency situations, deliveries, furniture moves, and snow removal.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and safe cleaning practices.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and communicate effectively in English.
• Dependable, safety-minded, and willing to jump in wherever help is needed.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Position pay range

$22 - $27 USD

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
