Facility: Clarios – Florence, Kentucky

About the role

Clarios is seeking a dependable and hardworking Janitor/Industrial Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing facility. This position plays an important role in supporting plant operations by maintaining production and common areas and ensuring the facility meets established housekeeping and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain production areas, offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and remove trash and waste.
• Clean and maintain floors, walls, windows, and other surfaces.
• Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Operate basic cleaning equipment and tools.
• Properly handle cleaning chemicals and materials.
• Follow all company safety, housekeeping, and environmental procedures.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Identify and report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or facility concerns.
• Support general housekeeping needs throughout the manufacturing facility.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Previous janitorial, custodial, industrial cleaning, manufacturing, or general labor experience preferred.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workplace.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb, and lift as required.
• Ability to work a 2-2-3 rotating schedule, including weekends as scheduled.
• Willingness to follow all safety requirements and wear required PPE.
