Janitor

About the role

Perform custodial services to ensure buildings and facilities are maintained in a safe and sanitary manner. This includes a full range of custodial duties related to the care, maintenance, and cleaning of all assigned buildings and facilities within the government contract, covering both routine and non-routine assignments.

Responsibilities

• Sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning restrooms and kitchens
• Floor care, including carpet cleaning, waxing, buffing, and spray buffing
• Maintaining buildings to comply with contract standards and present a clean, sightly appearance
• Operating floor care machinery as required
• Driving to outlying areas as needed
• Regular customer interaction during performance of services
• Other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor

Requirements

• Ability to comply with all safety requirements and wear personal protective equipment at all times
• Ability to comply with instruction and direction
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Must successfully pass a background investigation for both the company and the base
• Must have the ability to obtain a Security Clearance within 90 days of hire
• Valid state Driver’s License
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and carrying a maximum of 50 lbs

Pay

$23.25 hourly
