Overview

Tuesday - Friday, 5:00pm - 3:30am

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces in various areas of the distribution center, including offices, restrooms, break rooms, warehouse spaces, and grounds.
• Empty all trash cans and replace liners; clean receptacles as necessary.
• Operate manual and mechanical equipment in a safe manner, e.g., sweepers, scrubbers, and ride-on floor machines.
• Maintain cleaning supply inventory levels and notify Supervisor when reordering is needed.
• Maintain janitor closets and equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing cleaning duties. Report any safety hazards, malfunctions, or repairs needed to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow SDS recommendations and maintain chemical safety awareness.
• Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience.
• Prior experience and/or knowledge operating cleaning equipment (e.g., floor scrubber) preferred.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, use of cleaning equipment, and safety procedures.
• Able to bend, stoop, reach, stand, push, pull, and lift approximately up to 50 pounds repetitively.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Manual dexterity.
• Strong communication skills to report issues and collaborate effectively with other team members.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic English reading comprehension and numerical reasoning skills.

Pay

Targeted pay range: $18.60 - $26.55 per hour, including a $1.00 per hour shift differential. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, location, experience, and position offered. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
