About the Role
Jacob Lipton serves as the Executive Director of Justice Catalyst Access Fund (JCAF) and Justice Catalyst Partnerships (JCP). At JCAF, he leads a pioneering social impact litigation fund that uses recoverable grants and promissory notes to help nonprofit and law firm litigators scale impactful cases. The model recycles recovered funds to expand access to justice and grow the field of public interest law.
Background
Before joining Justice Catalyst, Jacob was co-founder and Program Director of the Systemic Justice Project at Harvard Law School. He is also the board co-chair of People’s Parity Project. Jacob holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts.
