About the role

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for maintaining accurate warehouse inventory, ordering materials as needed, overseeing vehicle maintenance and repairs, and preparing materials for field personnel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with installation manager and sales team to prepare materials for jobs.
• Order material and maintain adequate stock in the warehouse and on trucks.
• Deliver parts to technicians in the field.
• Perform accurate physical inventory monthly.
• Ensure all materials and equipment for jobs are ordered and available prior to installation dates.
• Prepare job materials in advance and ensure installers have what they need.
• Assist field personnel with timely loading and departures each morning.
• Transfer items from warehouse to truck or job site.
• Maintain regular vehicle maintenance to ensure safety.
• Receive and process purchase orders.
• Negotiate pricing on purchases.
• Communicate with suppliers and check incoming products.
• Manage dumpster, recycling, and disposal of waste materials.
• Supervise parts runners’ schedules for efficient time use.
• Manage return and warranty processes.
• Pull filters for maintenance.
• Handle special projects and other assigned duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of warehouse inventory experience (preferred).
• Ability to use computers efficiently and accurately.
• Experience with Service Titan (a plus).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• 3 years of clean driving experience.
• Able to pass drug screen and background check.

Physical Requirements

• Use standard office equipment such as telephone, computer, files, and copier.
• Physical dexterity in limbs and digits to operate hand and power-driven tools.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to continually walk, stand, climb, stoop, bend, kneel, and reach in all directions.
• Ability to maintain balance working off the ground using ladders, scaffolds, or mechanical lifts.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders and work in high, precarious places.
• Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work outside, exposed to heat and cold.
• Ability to see and read with or without vision aids.
• Ability to hear and speak to exchange information.
• Ability to perform maintenance duties and read blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

Pay

$15 - $17 per hour. The pay range may be higher based on education and experience.
