As a Middle School Math Teacher at Smilow Prep, you will:

Responsibilities

• Drive Academic Excellence
• Foster deep conceptual understanding through inquiry, discussion, and problem-solving
• Use real-time data to drive daily instruction and ensure all scholars reach academic mastery
• Cultivate meaningful relationships with scholars and families
• Provide specialized support to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Integrate technology, hands-on activities, and real-world applications to deepen learning
• Use frequent formative assessments to target instruction and close gaps quickly

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (required)
• Prior experience teaching math, particularly in schools serving historically underserved communities (preferred)
• Strong content knowledge in middle grades mathematics, with the ability to teach conceptual understanding, procedural fluency, and application (preferred)
