Jack and Bore Laborer

About the role

This position is for a Construction General Laborer for a large heavy civil project in Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities

- Construction experience in underground utility, heavy highway, bridges, dirt work, and/or welding. - Trenchless experience working around specialized equipment such as Tunnel Boring, Guided Boring, and/or Auger Boring Systems. - Heavy equipment experience preferred, including operating and maintaining excavators, backhoes, skidsteers, bucket loaders, and forklifts. - Jobsite set up experience interpreting plans and specifications, using surveying equipment to calculate grade and alignment. - Essential duties include climbing ladders into and out of earthen pits/trenches, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, stooping, squatting, lifting, and climbing, with full range of motion and use of arms and legs. - Must work in all weather conditions, be prepared for both extreme hot and cold. - Must be able to work independently, maintain good schedule, and be available for overtime. - Must have basic knowledge of heavy civil construction.

Requirements

- Valid driver's license (Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement preferred). - Past a DOT physical, drug test, and background checks.
