- No Glory In The Southwest (2019-21) | 30 pieces minted on Foundation
My devotion to art and photography is born from my experiences on the road and a desire to interpret what I see and how I feel through the language of photography. I traveled over 12,000 miles through the region while creating this collection. These moments in-between the miles are captured on photographic film. In my exploration and through my art, I am looking to better understand myself and my connection to the American landscape.
Large parts of the southwest can feel lonely, but in a way that I find comforting. This feeling of aloneness and quiet influenced my choice of subjects and compositions. I mostly create intuitively, turning the camera to subjects that I connect with in the moment, but intentional aesthetic choices in color, high-grain film, and high-key lighting are representative of how the Southwest light and landscape looks and feels to me.
- A Day In The City | View on OpenSea
A photographic short story centered around my first trip to the city since the beginning of the pandemic. The streets were unusually calm as I spent most of my time outside walking Manhattan. These scenes reflect the way New York felt to me in this moment—a departure from the energy and vibrancy that has drawn me in for years, but enjoyable nonetheless.
