Essential Functions
- Field service to Aquatech’s customers (domestic and international)
- Startup and troubleshooting of water treatment plants and equipment
- Supervision and providing maintenance advice to customers
- Prepare daily reports on activities at customer sites
- Map additional business opportunities at customer sites
- Be a technical adviser to our customers
- Work closely with all engineering disciplines to support customers
- Provide feedback to engineering teams on lessons learned for future improvements
- Carry out modifications to PLC and HMI programs under guidance from the home office
- Supervise site activities such as filter media and RO membrane loading
- Provide training to customer staff on plant operation and maintenance
- Assist in developing proposals
- Make visits to vendor sites for inspection and testing
- Travel up to 60% of the time may be necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills Required
- Excellent computer skills (EXCEL, Word, etc)
- Ability to travel to customer sites for extended periods
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and maintain a positive attitude
Qualifications / Experience
- Bachelor's / Associate’s degree in Chemical / Environmental engineering or Elect and Controls, Mechanical engineering
- Experience with water treatment equipment such as filters, RO, clarifiers, Ion Exchange, and wastewater treatment is highly preferred
- Basic knowledge of pumps, valve,s and instrumentation and controls is preferred
- Basic knowledge of industrial safety is necessary
- Basic knowledge of electrical and control systems is preferred
- Experience in programming of PLC and HMI is highly desirable
- 1 - 7 years’ experience in a process industry or process engineering firm
