OTHRVolunteer

About the Role

An IW Influencer is a volunteer who carries the mission of Invisible Warriors into every room she already enters—whether she speaks at events, leads a faith community, holds professional influence, or shows up for her peers online. This role is not a campaign; it is a way of being present.

  • Represent IW at speaking engagements, community events, and professional settings when you are available and it is appropriate.
  • Share IW's values and mission in your own voice—in conversation, in writing, or online—as it fits naturally in your life.
  • Attend or participate in at least one IW event per year.
  • Amplify IW announcements when relevant.
  • Participate in a brief quarterly check-in (approximately 30 minutes by phone or video).

What It Does Not Require

  • No required number of social media posts.
  • No content creation schedule.
  • No formal media appearances.

Requirements

You don't need a military background to apply—but you do need a real reason for caring. Women veterans will notice the difference.

  • Women veterans, military spouses, military family members, and civilian allies with a genuine connection to this mission are welcome.
  • People must trust your voice.
  • You must believe women veterans deserve to be seen.

About Us

Invisible Warriors is a sisterhood for women veterans and military family members who have been overlooked, underserved, and misunderstood. We exist to ensure they are seen, known, and standing together. Our mission includes:

  • Welcoming and listening to every military woman with dignity, compassion, and a personalized intake process.
  • Connecting and guiding each woman to the right partners, resources, or services—whether she seeks healing from trauma, job training, housing, transportation, food security, childcare, relationship support, peer connection, or access to VA benefits and healthcare.
  • Educating the public, service providers, and policymakers about the often-overlooked experiences and needs of women in the military—during and after service.
  • Advocating for systems change that prioritizes gender-specific, trauma-informed, and holistic care for all women who serve or have served.
  • Empowering women to reclaim their identity, rebuild their lives, and thrive—no matter where they are on their military or post-military journey.

Through unwavering support, expert guidance, and heartfelt advocacy, we stand united in our commitment to ensure that no military woman fights her invisible battles alone.
