About the role

The IVR Cath Lab Tech is a skilled Radiology Technologist with essential Interventional Radiology (IVR) and/or Cath Lab training. This role requires independent function during cases, utilizing proper sterile technique, radiation safety, and proficiency in procedure data recording. Effective communication is essential with patients, families, physicians, other staff, management, and all hospital employees.

Responsibilities

• Utilize proper sterile technique during procedures.
• Ensure radiation safety protocols are followed.
• Record procedure data accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, other staff, management, and all hospital employees.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved radiography or cardiovascular tech program.
• ARRT certification, or RCVT/RCIS.
• Arkansas Radiologic Technologist license or a limited scope license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Five years of Cath Lab or IVR experience as a Radiologic Technologist and actively taking call.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
