IVR Cath Lab RN I

Description

The IVR and/or Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for planning, organizing, and administering care within the scope of their training and expertise. This role involves collaborating with other disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes, in conjunction with the objectives and policies of the hospital and the Nurse Practice Act of the state of Arkansas.

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians and other healthcare professionals during Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology (IVR) procedures.
• Ensures a clean and sterile environment.
• Administers medications.
• Implements and maintains counts.
• Prempts for procedures.
• Documents procedures.
• Maintains monitoring of the patient, staff, instruments, and equipment.
• Delivers specimens.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license from the Arkansas State Board of Nursing.
• CPR certification.

Pay

This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
