Position summary

Reports to the Laboratory Director/supervisor. With minimal supervision and in strict compliance with established policies and procedures, performs the specialized testing related to Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART). Routinely analyzes tests and results to ensure accuracy. Participates in quality control, new procedure development and research projects.

Work location & schedule

• Johns Hopkins at Greenspring Station, Lutherville, MD – Assisted Reproductive Technologies Lab
• Full Time/Days: 6:00am–2:30pm
• Weekend Rotations Required

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory/medical technology science from an accredited institution required.
• Masters or PhD, preferred

Experience

• Experience in a human or animal assisted reproduction lab: 3 years required.
• Relevant knowledge and experience in a human assisted reproduction lab: 5 years preferred.

Licensure & certification

• Technical Supervisor board certified by American Board of Bioanalysts, Preferred.
