About the Role

Indiana University School of Medicine/IU Health Medical Group, Department of Radiation Medicine in Indianapolis is recruiting two faculty radiation oncologists who are excited about the tripartite mission of excellence in clinical care, research, and education.

  • One specialist with a focus on head and neck, lung, and/or gastrointestinal malignancies
  • One generalist to care for a diverse patient population across IU Health academic and clinical sites in a growing health system

As part of a dynamic NCI-designated Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center with robust training programs, state-of-the-art technology, and strong multidisciplinary collaborations, you will have outstanding opportunities to build a fulfilling academic career.

Responsibilities

  • 4 clinic days per week
  • 1 academic day per week

Work Environment

  • Team of 13 physicians, 13 physicists, 2 basic science researchers, and 2 educators
  • Radiation Oncology medical residency and physics residency programs
  • New state-of-the-art hospital and department opening in 2027

Requirements

  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Radiation Oncology
  • Ability to become licensed in Indiana
  • MD or DO degree
