ITOC Analyst - Service Continuity
About the role
McGuireWoods LLP is seeking an IT Operations Center (ITOC) Analyst to join our team in Richmond, VA. This role provides enterprise monitoring and operational support across primary and rotating shifts. Standard coverage spans weekdays across 1st and 2nd shifts. Applicants must be adaptable to weekly schedule changes—including 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 12-hour weekend shifts—to provide coverage for team member time off, vacations, and general operational needs.

Responsibilities
- Monitors, reports, and makes corrections, when required, to all service and performance levels of enterprise network, application, hardware, security, telephony, data backup, and data center/office environments using the provided tools for performance, event, and capacity management.
- Reviews and maintains Operational Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and supporting vendor contracts.
- Reviews and follows up to ensure issue remediation is complete.
- Coordinates remediation plans for enterprise-wide system issues.
Requirements
- High school diploma required; additional technical education preferred.
- 1-2+ years of experience in a NOC, ITOC, or IT operations environment preferred.
- Experience working multiple shift types strongly preferred.
- Experience with monitoring and ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, SCOM, Splunk, or SolarWinds preferred.
