About the role
Assist members with basic teller transactions as well as complex requests through effective, accurate, and professional Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) interactions. The ITM Teller will assist members and potential members with their requests, explain services, and respond to problems in a fast-paced environment. Support the Credit Union in its policies and procedures and respond to problems and concerns with a sense of urgency to maintain and strengthen member relationships.
Responsibilities
- Assist members with questions and concerns ranging from basic to complex levels involving products and services.
- Make personal connections, engage with and educate members, ask open-ended questions, and use active listening skills to establish trust and build lasting member relationships.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both in-person and across digital platforms.
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent.
- A minimum of one (1) year of financial institution experience handling teller transactions.
- Experience communicating via virtual technology preferred.
- Knowledge of all financial regulations including Federal Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Reg CC- Funds Availability, USA PATRIOT Act, etc.
- Knowledge of digital banking solutions and technology-enabled services.
- Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) registration with Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) required.
- Designated safety-sensitive position; must successfully pass pre-employment drug screen (including marijuana testing) and adhere to the Drug and Alcohol Policy for duration of employment.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–6:15 p.m. with rotating Saturdays, 8:45 a.m.–12:45 p.m.
- Number of Saturdays worked may increase based on business needs.
Pay
$20.48 to $21.61 per hour.
