Responsibilities
- Work with Cisco Routers and Switches
- Connect to and add configuration files to Cisco network equipment
- Communicate effectively with site management and clients
- Interact with site management and leaders
- Be flexible with work hours
- Complete tasks within 2-6 hours per site
- Maintain computer hardware in working order
- Set up employee workstations
- Install and configure software
- Train colleagues in technology best practices
- Assess and mitigate security risks
- Maintain optimized local network
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
- Comprehend industry standard network connectivity, navigation, and software installation
- Excellent customer service skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Previous experience as an IT Technician or IT Certification preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of data privacy and security
Qualifications
Must have 2 years of direct experience with working with Cisco Routers and Switches.
