IT Technician (Field)

Responsibilities

• Clear communication
• Comprehend industry standard network connectivity, navigation, and software installation
• Customer service skills to interact with site management and ICC as well as leaders
• Flexible hours and ability to work during early hours
• Assess security risks and ensure the security of networks and computer systems
• Maintain optimized local network
• Set up employee workstations (computers, printers, routers, etc)
• Install and configure software
• Train colleagues in best practices in technology and how to use software and equipment
• Maintain computer hardware in working order

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and car
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs without any restrictions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Previous experience as an IT Technician or IT Certification
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of data privacy and security

Skills

• Direct experience with working with Cisco Routers and Switches
• Hands-on experience connecting to and adding configuration files to Cisco network equipment
