Roles/Responsibilities

  • Supports Point of Sale & Fare collection systems, including but not limited to testing, development, installation, reporting and monitoring.
  • Required to travel for equipment installations, monitoring, training, etc.
  • Manages day-to-day testing and implementation of technological advancements and software upgrades. Assist troubleshooting production issues.
  • Provide technical guidance and acts as liaison to user departments and vendors for the coordination of equipment installations, implementation, and end user training.
  • Required to assist in other areas within POS and Fare Collection Department, including but not limited to TVM’s, TOM’s, Platform Validators, OBVs.

Technical Skills/Knowledge

  • Experience with SAP desired but not required.
  • Knowledge in fare collection technology desired but not required.
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to make important decisions under pressure.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Motivated and organized.
  • Knowledge with Excel.
  • Valid driver’s license is required.
