Roles/Responsibilities
- Supports Point of Sale & Fare collection systems, including but not limited to testing, development, installation, reporting and monitoring.
- Required to travel for equipment installations, monitoring, training, etc.
- Manages day-to-day testing and implementation of technological advancements and software upgrades. Assist troubleshooting production issues.
- Provide technical guidance and acts as liaison to user departments and vendors for the coordination of equipment installations, implementation, and end user training.
- Required to assist in other areas within POS and Fare Collection Department, including but not limited to TVM’s, TOM’s, Platform Validators, OBVs.
Technical Skills/Knowledge
- Experience with SAP desired but not required.
- Knowledge in fare collection technology desired but not required.
- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to make important decisions under pressure.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge with Microsoft Office applications.
- Motivated and organized.
- Knowledge with Excel.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
