Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to hardware, software, operating systems, network services, and business applications.
- Provide technical support to end-users for a wide range of IT systems, including those specific to manufacturing environments.
- Install, configure, maintain, and repair computer systems, software, and peripheral equipment.
- Manage and prioritize support tickets effectively, ensuring timely resolution.
- Aid in the design and implementation of networks and IT solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and user guides.
- Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
- May provide guidance and training to Junior Technical Specialists.
- Consult with users to determine appropriate hardware and software needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience and certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Security+).
- 2-5 years of experience in a technical support role.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across a variety of technologies (hardware, software, networking).
- In-depth knowledge of operating systems, enterprise applications, and IT infrastructure components.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Experience with IT support in a manufacturing or distribution environment is a plus.
Qualifications
