IT Technical Architect II (Security Operations)

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and promote a strong health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) culture for all employees, vendors, subcontractors, and customers to comply with HSEQ policies, procedures, regulations, and continual improvement objectives.
• Identify and communicate workplace hazards and risks with a commitment to correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe or nonconforming actions or conditions.
• Strong architectural understanding of zero trust network architectures (ZTNA)
• Expertise in vulnerability management in an enterprise environment
• Experience with incident management and incident response (documentation, research, reporting)
• Identity and access management experience (RBAC/least privilege controls/account security)
• Understanding of firewall management, policies and controls
• Strong scripting skills supporting automation, remediation, or optimization efforts
• Strong understanding of DNS, certificate management, domain takedown processes
• Ability to articulate security best practices and architectural approaches
• Strong documentation and project management skills (design, execute, maintain)
• Ability to design and communicate architecture and risk postures to others

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; and 4-6 years of experience as an IT Technical Architect or similar role, or an equivalent combination
• Experience with enterprise-level infrastructure design, security, and performance best practices
• Experience with security operations platforms, tooling, applications, policies and practices
• Experience with project management and life cycle management methodologies

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with IT service management methodologies, such as ITIL
• Experience with cloud technologies, containerization, and microservices architecture
• Experience working with Agile methodologies
