IT/Tech Support Assistant (Part-Time)
About the role
We're looking for a friendly, practical IT Support Assistant to take on the day-to-day so the office keeps humming, people get sorted quickly, and nothing sits in a queue for days.
Responsibilities
- Accounts, access and software: Set up and manage accounts across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and Teams, Slack, and the tools our teams use day to day
- Grant software licences and access (Claude, Figma, Asana and the rest), handle permission changes and shared inboxes
- Run password resets and sort sign-in issues
- Keep our records tidy as you go, so we always know who has what
- Onboarding and offboarding: Get new starters fully set up before they arrive: laptop, accounts, access, desk kit, Handle leavers cleanly when people move on: accounts closed, kit returned
- Office tech, AV and meeting rooms: Keep meeting rooms call-ready: cameras, screens, mics, screen sharing and mirroring, Set up and fix monitors, TVs and office displays, Sort the small hardware stuff fast: chargers, cables, keyboards, peripherals
- Kit and cable management: Keep desks and meeting spaces tidy and working, no more dodgy cables and half-dead sockets, Manage stock of cables, chargers and accessories so we don't run dry
- Network and everyday fixes: First-line triage on WiFi and connection issues, log them, sort the quick wins, escalate the rest, Keep printers and shared kit running, Chase suppliers when something needs ordering or repairing
Requirements
- Experience: Some hands-on IT or tech support experience, in an office, a helpdesk, a shop, anywhere you've fixed real problems for real people
- Comfortable on Mac (our whole fleet is Apple)
- Familiar with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 / Teams, or a fast learner who'll pick them up quickly
- Any experience with meeting room AV or cabling is a real plus
Qualifications
- Mindset: Approachable, kind and genuinely happy to help. This is the big one. You'll be the face of tech on the floor, and we want people to feel welcome coming to you, whatever the question
- Calm under pressure, especially when something breaks right before a big call
- Organised and reliable, you finish what you pick up and keep things tidy
- Proactive, you spot the thing that's about to break before it does
Skills
- Nice to have: Experience with an MDM (we use Kandji)
- Worked in a creative or agency environment before
- Somewhat familiar with SaaS admin and licence management

This is an office role, the work is hands-on and on-site, so there's no remote option
Starting as a contract for the first couple of months, with a view to continuing if it's a good fit on both sides
Day/hourly rate depending on experience, discussed at interview
