About the role

Under the supervision of the IT Operations Manager, the IT Systems Administrator is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and support of LC Plus Technology and its clients’ computers, network, business applications, servers, backup, security, and voice systems. This role proposes and implements system enhancements to improve reliability and performance, contributes to solving complex technical and business matters, and is instrumental in the design, configuration, implementation, and support of all modern IT systems.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain all IT systems integrity, functionality, and operation to limit service disruption, enhance efficacy, and strengthen security.
  • Identify and execute continuous improvement efforts when implementing new solutions and managing existing solutions.
  • Synthesize technical knowledge and insights for LC Plus Technology and its clients to achieve effective strategies and solutions.
  • Make recommendations based on existing knowledge of current state, desired state, and best practice.
  • Generate technical deliverables beyond existing bodies of work as they relate to organizational and divisional vision.
  • Apply attuned insight of organizational needs, best practices, and current system state to position IT system strategy and delivery toward effective and modern outcomes.
  • Serve as a technical resource of knowledge and ability for LC Plus Technology and its clients.
  • Maintain subject matter authority to educate decisions related to technical systems and strategy.
  • Share knowledge around system functionality and troubleshooting with supporting staff and within LC Plus Technology and its clients.
  • Engage with LC Plus Technology and its clients to drive continuous improvement in IT systems and strategy.
  • Align with business stakeholders to deliver solutions that support overall organizational goals.
  • Align with LCI and LC Plus Technology values to ensure each IT system solution and strategy promotes integrity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, other related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience (includes knowledge, skills, and abilities).
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Information Technology or related area.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of related work experience including working with Microsoft server, cloud, network, security, Microsoft 365 applications, and desktop platforms.
  • Proficient working knowledge with enterprise-grade technology including but not limited to network, security, computing hardware, server, and cloud.
  • Knowledge of computer equipment and network systems.
  • Ability to diagnose and take corrective action in addressing IT systems problems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and establish/maintain effective working relationships.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possession of or progress toward technical certifications desired but not required.
  • Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of adequate insurance required.
