Responsibilities

  • Lead desktop and helpdesk support services to achieve targeted service levels
  • Administer and maintain Windows servers, virtual environment, and other related IT systems.
  • Manage endpoint devices including desktops, laptops, printers and mobile devices
  • Manage user access/permissions for Active Directory, Microsoft 365, group policies and on-premises systems
  • Lead the plan and execution of system updates, patch management and vulnerability remediation
  • Maintain cybersecurity controls, including endpoint protection, data protection, and system hardening
  • Support firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs, wireless networks, and other network infrastructure
  • Assist with IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, equipment rollouts, and process improvements
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for hardware configuration, software licenses, and IT assets
  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies, security standards, and best practices
  • Cook up with vendors and service providers as needed
  • Assist with cybersecurity initiatives and compliance requirements
  • Participate in after-hours support or on-call rotation as necessary

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in systems administration or IT infrastructure support
  • Experience with: Windows Server and Desktop operating systems, Active Directory / Azure, Microsoft 365, VMware or Hyper-V, Networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLANs), Backup and recovery systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as a collaborative member of a team
