IT Support Technician

What You’ll Do

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, systems, and application issues
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and network connectivity
• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade hardware and software
• Set up and deploy new IT equipment for employees
• Support user account access and related technical requests
• Maintain accurate documentation of hardware, software, and system configurations
• Escalate and coordinate issues with second- and third-level IT support teams as needed
• Train and support users on IT tools, systems, and best practices
• Help ensure compliance with company IT policies, cybersecurity practices, and acceptable use standards
• Participate in local and global IT projects

What We’re Looking For

• Required Qualifications
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, help desk, or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of:
• Windows operating systems
• Microsoft Office
• Active Directory
• Desktop hardware and software troubleshooting
• Experience with remote support tools, VPNs, and help desk/ticketing systems
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively across departments

• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting IT in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365, QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise, Keyence, or AutoCAD
• Microsoft certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, or similar
• Bilingual skills are a plus

Work Environment

• This role supports both office and manufacturing operations
• The position may require standing, walking, bending, reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds
• In some production areas, exposure to elevated noise, machinery, airborne particles, and electrical systems may occur
• Personal protective equipment, including hearing protection and grounding equipment, are required in designated areas

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST
