On-siteInformation Technology$30–$35/hrFull-time

Methuen Construction is a leading self-performing industrial and heavy civil general contractor with over 65 years of experience. We specialize in the construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities, industrial facilities, and other critical infrastructure projects. Serving private, municipal, state, and federal clients across the Northeast, we deliver innovative, well-planned projects completed on time with an uncompromising focus on safety. At Methuen, we foster a culture of teamwork, respect, and a can-do attitude that values every teammate and stakeholder.

About the Role

We are looking for an independent, motivated, and reliable IT Support Analyst to join our internal helpdesk team. In this deskside support role, you will deliver hands-on and remote technical assistance to employees across the Northeast (CT, RI, MA, NH, VT, ME). You will handle complex issues, ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations, and serve as a key point of contact for our employees. Success in this position hinges on your ability to work independently, juggle priorities from multiple stakeholders, and proactively solve problems in a distributed environment.

In this unique role, you will support the building of critical water and wastewater infrastructure across the region. More than a typical office technology support role, your technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills will directly contribute to the success of the most important construction projects in the region.

Responsibilities

  • Provide deskside and remote technical support for hardware (laptops, desktops, peripherals, printers, etc.), software, and connectivity issues.

  • Administer user accounts, permissions, and identity management (Azure AD / Entra ID).
  • Deliver advanced support and administration for Microsoft Office 365 services (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.).
  • Perform basic networking troubleshooting (Wi-Fi, VPN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency through scripting (PowerShell preferred).
  • Document solutions, update the knowledge base, and contribute to process improvements.
  • Effectively prioritize and manage support requests from multiple stakeholders with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in deskside/desktop support in a Microsoft Windows-based small to medium-sized business environment.
  • Strong customer service skills and experience, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Solid understanding of basic networking concepts.
  • Working knowledge of identity management systems (Azure AD / Entra ID).
  • Experience writing and using scripts to automate routine tasks.
  • Proficiency with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness and ability to travel 10–15% within the United States and Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of Office 365 administration (admin center, licensing, security & compliance).
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune for device enrollment, configuration, compliance, and autopilot deployments.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and assisting employees with configurations.
  • Experience with APIs, such as configuring and troubleshooting.
  • Audit, governance, and compliance experience associated with doing business with the Federal government, such as Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC).
  • Hands-on experience with construction management tool Procore and other legacy MWH platforms Sage & HH2.
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-102, MD-102).
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.

Benefits

  • Group health & welfare benefits including options for medical, dental, and vision.
  • Employee Life Insurance & Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D), Spouse and Dependent Life & AD&D.
  • Short Term Disability (STD) and Long Term Disability (LTD).
  • Employee Assistance Program and Health Advocate.
  • Voluntary benefits at discounted group rates for accidents, critical illness, and hospital indemnity.
  • Accrued vacation time.
  • Paid Sick and Safe Leave.
  • Paid Parental Leave Program.
  • 10 Paid Holidays.
  • 401(k) Plan (company matching contributions up to 4%).
  • Employee Referral Program.

Pay

$30-35/hr. This is an hourly, non-exempt position.

All positions require pre-employment screening, including drug and background check, as a condition of employment.
