- Translate business requirements, user stories, and technical designs into high-quality, maintainable code.
- Work with MuleSoft/integration teams to implement and consume APIs, integrations, queues, and data exchange patterns as needed.
Requirements
Must-Have Skills
- 6+ years in application development, with strong recent hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices-based services.
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, API design, exception handling, logging, and secure coding practices.
- Experience with SQL and/or relational databases; ability to write, analyze, and optimize queries as needed.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD, Git-based source control, build/deployment pipelines, and Agile engineering practices.
Preferred Skills
- MuleSoft experience, including API-led connectivity, Mule flows, DataWeave, connectors, API Manager, and integration troubleshooting.
- Prior experience in healthcare claims, claims adjudication, claims modernization, payer systems, or related healthcare domain areas.
- Knowledge of cloud-native development, containers, Kubernetes/OpenShift, PCF/Tanzu, or similar deployment platforms.
- Exposure to messaging/event-driven architecture such as Kafka, JMS, RabbitMQ, or equivalent platforms.
- Lead potential: ability to provide technical guidance, review designs/code, mentor developers, and coordinate delivery tasks.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
