Responsibilities

• Install hardware, build software, configure, and maintain Windows servers and workstations.
• Create and administer user accounts, security groups, and group policy.
• Conduct backups and system recoveries.
• Configure and manage patching solutions and log collection.
• Provide technical support to onsite users.
• Maintain compliance with DoD Security Technical Configuration Guides (STIGs).
• Investigate trouble calls, isolate faults, identify and implement corrective actions to restore information systems operations.
• Author change request documentation to support system configuration adjustments.
• Monitor networks and systems for security threats, investigate alerts, and respond to incidents.
• Tune detection rules and support requirements to secure complex security architectures.
• Understand TCP/IP, DNS, HTTPS, command-line mechanics, unicast/multicast, and other system/networking knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree within the last five years in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering or similar degree as listed in the DoD 8140 listings from an ABET accredited or NCAE designated institution.
• One of the following certifications: CompTIA Cloud+, CompTIA Security+, GIAC Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP), Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Security, CompTIA SecurityX (formerly CASP+), Federal IT Security Professional-Operator-NG (FITSP-O), GIAC Foundational Cybersecurity Technologies (GFACT), GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), or WAU DCWF WRC 451 System Administrator - Intermediate Playlist.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance is highly desired, however candidates who are eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance will be considered.
• A start date will be established once an interim Secret clearance is granted.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from various work locations.
• Must maintain the capacity to communicate with their supervisor and/or manager when not in the office.
• Must be available to work varying shifts and weekends as required.

Physical Requirements

• Sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, crouching, and kneeling.
• Reaching, handling, using equipment, keyboards, and mobile devices.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 20 lbs.

Pay

The minimum salary for this position is $60,000 per year and the maximum salary is $75,000 per year. The minimum salary excludes applicable benefits, bonuses, or performance spot awards.
