IT SPECIALIST (ENTARCH)

About the Role

This position is for an IT Specialist (Enterprise Architecture) within the Resource Management Department of NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support, specifically in the Nuclear Reactors Supply Chain Management Directorate.

Responsibilities

• Apply a wide range of IT methods and technologies, including data mining, storage, warehousing, modeling, database management, operating systems, and network topology.
• Demonstrate knowledge of corporate IT architecture, infrastructure design, and the software development lifecycle.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of IT policy, data processing standards, and current trends to develop accurate business requirements and ensure compliance.
• Find practical and creative solutions for functional and technical problems, particularly when objectives are unclear or when applying new technologies.
• Communicate technical ideas and concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, including peers and stakeholders.

Requirements

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Qualifications

One year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector, including:

• Applying IT methods and technologies such as data mining, storage, warehousing, modeling, database management, operating systems, and network topology.
