IT Specialist

Position Summary

Our client, a technology solutions and IT services company, is seeking an IT Specialist to support application development and operational functions within the financial services industry. This role will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing business applications and databases while supporting ongoing operational and technology initiatives. The position requires close collaboration with business users, IT teams, project stakeholders, and external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support business applications and related databases
• Perform application testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
• Create and maintain technical and system documentation
• Cook up application deployment and change management activities
• Collaborate with business users, IT teams, project stakeholders, and external vendors
• Support automation initiatives, system enhancements, and process improvement projects
• Contribute to operational excellence and project delivery efforts

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum 3 Years Of Application Development Experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting system implementations within the banking or financial services industry
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience with one or more of the following technologies: Angular or React, ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, Visual Studio, PowerShell, Salesforce, RPA tools
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with application testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
• Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation
• Experience coordinating change management and deployment processes
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• Experience supporting corporate banking systems
• Knowledge of lending products, wholesale banking, financial instruments, or market risk management
• Experience with payment systems and financial messaging platforms
• SharePoint administration experience
• Experience developing automation solutions using UiPath or similar RPA tools
• Understanding of application security and change management best practices

PAY

USD 70,000 - 90,000
