About the role

Reports to: IT Manager
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, install, and perform testing activities on various computer equipment, peripherals, data communication, and computer network systems.
- Report equipment quantity needs, set up new users with job-specific hardware and system access.
- Maintain and support the information technology infrastructure (network and computer hardware) for all locations throughout Gooseneck Implement.
- Develop and maintain software and hardware inventory and tracking systems.
- Provide phone support and training to new and current users and solve miscellaneous phone problems, including set-up, moving phones, voice mail, and possible cable installation.
- Provide support to users relating to both hardware and software problems on their personal computers.
- Perform preventive maintenance for computer, data communication, and/or peripheral equipment; test and adjust to appropriate standards.
- Maintain knowledge of current technology and stay abreast of new technological advancements.
- Assist in developing and delivering information technology and business system training for the entire organization.
- Special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team.
- Proven ability to work well with internal and external users.
- Organized and self-motivated.
- Working knowledge of IT security best practices, including endpoint protection, identity and access management, patching, phishing awareness, and basic incident response.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Intune, endpoint protection, and user access controls.
- Strong knowledge of networking and associated Cisco hardware (network switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and routers).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher).
- Knowledge of John Deere dealer software and processes is a plus.
- 2+ years’ experience in an equivalent IT field preferred and/or bachelor’s degree in computer information systems.
- Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable to drive.
- Must be able to travel to all 14 store locations across ND and SD.
Pre-Employment Requirements
Candidates must be able to pass pre-employment screenings including drug screen, background check, and MVR review. This position requires the employee to be insurable as it involves travel to all Gooseneck locations.
