Responsibilities
- Lead and support moderately complex sourcing initiatives and procurement activities.
- Negotiate supplier agreements, contract terms, pricing, and commercial arrangements.
- Review and analyze sourcing challenges requiring evaluation of multiple variables and business considerations.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve supplier performance, and mitigate contractual risk.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver sourcing solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Contribute to resolution of sourcing-related issues while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Partner with legal, risk, finance, and business teams throughout the sourcing lifecycle.
- Support sourcing activities across Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB), Wealth & Investment Management (WIM), and Commercial Banking organizations.
Qualifications
- Indirect sourcing experience within the financial services industry.
- Proven experience negotiating:
- SaaS agreements
- On-premise software contracts
- Professional and managed services agreements
- Market data contracts
- Broker services agreements
- Strong contract negotiation, supplier management, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to analyze complex sourcing requirements and develop strategic recommendations.
- Experience working within highly regulated environments.
- Experience collaborating with business partners and stakeholders to deliver sourcing objectives while adhering to policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Experience supporting one or more of the following:
- (preferred)Investment Banking
- (preferred)Wealth Management
- (preferred)Commercial/Wholesale Banking
- (preferred)Market Data organizations
- (preferred)Fortune 100 sourcing experience, preferably within banking or financial services.
- (preferred)Experience negotiating high-value technology, software, and business services agreements.
- (preferred)Strong understanding of procurement risk management, governance, and supplier relationship management.
