IT Software Engineer ERP

About the role
Leads complex information systems projects following the life cycle in collaboration with IT Support Managers and IT Directors to support strategic vision and goals. Assists in developing newly hired department members and provides implementation support, including workflow analysis, issue documentation, resolution, and policy development. Effectively communicates project and team status to internal and external audiences while following governance and change control processes.
Requirements
- Associate's degree (Bachelor's degree in information system management or informatics preferred)
- Clinical experience or work experience with implementation of EHR
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and Zoom
- Ability to run virtual and in-person meetings
- Project Management experience or training preferred
- Ability to manage stress effectively and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle multiple projects and demands simultaneously
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot with end users and coordinate information systems activities to ensure uninterrupted operations
- Teach, advocate, and mentor staff on information systems standards, tools, and methodologies while delivering high-quality customer service
- Manage documentation of the current information systems environment and maintain departmental policies and procedures
- Reinforce project prioritization with operations, executives, and end users, ensuring consistent communication for risk escalation and mitigation
- Develop staff training programs to ensure cross-training in critical areas
- Interview, select, evaluate, discipline, and terminate staff as necessary
- Learn new software and systems to maintain adaptability
- Maintain regular communication with team, vendors, and stakeholders to meet project deliverables and timelines
- Motivate and appreciate the team, reinforcing a culture of excellent customer service
- Conduct applicant interviews and participate in employee selection
- Review project and issue status with leadership on an ongoing basis
- Hold weekly communications with team members to discuss deliverables, issues, end-user concerns, and milestones
- Ensure timely project and data tracking, including weekly time tracking input
- Establish change control processes and procedures
- Review new releases and communicate needed changes to end users
- Initiate escalation procedures when required
- Perform duties necessary for patient welfare or efficient operations in emergent situations
- Demonstrate critical thinking, dependability, initiative, and resilience
- Maintain vendor and support service relationships, communicating status, risks, and issues
- Act as a liaison with IT, patient services, and business services, building strong relationships with managers and team members
- Participate in vendor demos, site visits, and reference calls to assess feasibility, cost, and alternatives for technology upgrades or innovations
- Collaborate with managers, directors, and senior leadership for successful project implementation using multiple communication methods
- Work with dedicated vendor project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Perform other duties as assigned

Pay
The pay range for this full-time (1.0 FTE) position is $97,947.20 - $127,982.40. Actual compensation may differ based on assigned hours and position status (e.g., part-time). The range reflects base compensation and does not include bonuses, incentive compensation, or other forms of pay.
