About the role
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our Information Technology team. In this role, you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of custom software projects that support our clinical and business operations. You’ll work closely with developers, business stakeholders, and IT leadership to ensure our internally developed software solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals.
Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation schedules.
- Facilitate communication between IT development teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams.
- Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating as appropriate.
- Manage project documentation, including requirements, status reports, and change requests.
- Coordinate sprint planning, stand‑ups, and retrospectives for teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Ensure software development projects comply with relevant regulatory, quality, and data‑integrity standards (e.g., GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, SOx).
- Support change management and user adoption efforts for newly deployed software, including running pilot studies with the business.
- Conduct post‑project reviews to capture lessons learned and improve future project delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience managing IT or software development projects.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency with change‑management tools (e.g., Microsoft Azure DevOps).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing project timelines and cross‑functional teams.
Preferred qualifications
- PMP, CSM, or other relevant project‑management certification.
- Experience working in a Contract Research Organization, pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated life‑sciences environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA, or SOx.
