IT Software Developer Internship 2027
Full-time hybrid-telecommute role with an anticipated start date of June 2027 and a duration of 10 weeks.
About the role
Join GALLO's award-winning Information Technology team and help build the applications, systems, and integrations that support the world’s largest family-owned winery. As an IT Software Developer Intern, you’ll contribute to meaningful work across web, mobile, cloud, database, and production service environments while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic business supported by leading technology. This internship is designed to help you grow your business, data, or technical skills through project-based work with Application Development, Business Analysis, and/or Data Services teams.
You may collaborate with cross-functional partners across Marketing, Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, Winemaking, and Research & Development, giving you exposure to how technology powers a broad and innovative organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop full-stack code, debug and test applications.
- Work with databases and cloud services.
- Build and deploy services and integrations.
- Create technical documentation.
- Develop system diagrams and workflows.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled at a college or university and working towards a Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Informatics, to be obtained between December 2027 and June 2029.
- Strong written, verbal, and analytical skills.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Qualifications
- Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Informatics.
- Previous software development experience through coursework, personal projects, internships, or open-source contributions.
- Proficiency with cloud development, databases, and full-stack software development.
- Experience with AI agent integrations or agentic engineering.

Pay
$26.50 - $28.50 per hour. This position may also be eligible for bonuses, incentive plans, or participate in tasting room tip pools, as applicable.
