Position Description
The Senior Systems Administrator role is to ensure the efficient operation and security compliance of the company’s data centers, Microsoft Azure systems, client and job centralized servers, databases, and equipment. This role will also lead and direct IT systems engineer specialist teams in building, managing, supporting, and maintaining solutions according to departmental policy.
Position Qualifications
- College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or 10+ years equivalent work experience.
- Certifications in Microsoft Azure equivalent to MCSE, VMware VCP-DCV (advanced), Cisco CCNP, and ITIL are required.
- Strong system administration (Linux/Unix and Windows) at the command-line level.
- Hands-on experience in System design, IT Architecture, Networking, Infrastructure operations, and operational stability to transform the way the teams operate to ensure delivery of high-quality systems/applications.

Essential Duties
- Aid the IT Infrastructure Manager in the development of IT strategies in collaboration with the other IT team members, with a specific focus on infrastructure service delivery and life cycle management.
- Implement and maintain policies and procedures set by the IT leadership.
- Deploy, manage, and maintain the enterprise’s infrastructure, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery Plan set by the IT Infrastructure manager and IT leadership.
- Prepare and ensure the accuracy of documentation, procedures, manuals, and help sheets for all IT infrastructure systems.
- Design and implement redundant systems, policies, and procedures for disaster recovery and data archiving to ensure effective protection and integrity of data assets.
- Conduct research and make recommendations on data center products, services, protocols, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts.
- Oversee new and existing equipment, hardware, and software upgrades.
- Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure network, cloud, and data center products and services.
- IT infrastructure.
- You can design, implement, administer, and support infrastructure technologies, solutions, and services such as computing, storage, networking, physical infrastructure, software, COTS, and open-source packages and solutions, and virtual and cloud computing, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.

Pay
Compensation Range (Colorado Only): Base Salary: $86,640 - $95,760 USD Annually
