IT Security Business Analyst

at Insight Global in Overland Park, Kansas, United States Job Description Job Description This Business Analyst will support IT security initiatives throughout the full Software Development Life Cycle ( SDLC ), partnering with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements. The role will focus on security-related projects including Identity and Access Management ( IAM ), data loss prevention, and broader data security efforts. Responsibilities include facilitating requirements gathering sessions with both technical and non-technical teams and translating business needs into clear and actionable documentation. The ideal candidate will have experience creating mock-up reports, process flows, and swim lane diagrams to support solution design and process improvement initiatives. Strong communication and facilitation skills are essential to drive collaboration across multiple teams and ensure project objectives are met. Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field or equivalent experience, along with the ability to thrive in a large, multi-team technology environment. Flexibility to support stakeholders across various time zones, including occasional early morning or evening meetings, is also required. This is a 12-month contract role hybrid in Kansas City, Missouri.
