IT Risk And Security Analyst-Hybrid Remote Schedule Located In Meridian, ID

TEKsystems is seeking an IT Risk and Security Analyst/Engineer for a 6-month hybrid remote contract based in Meridian, Idaho.

About the role

Focus is on IT Risk Assessments, Policy Exceptions, NIST CSF, and HIPAA Security Assessments. Responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, ensuring appropriate risk treatment plans are implemented, driving compliance with policies, managing the policy lifecycle, monitoring adherence to governance frameworks, and collaborating with stakeholders.

Monitors, analyzes, and maintains systems and procedures to safeguard internal information systems, networks, databases, and web-based security. Ensures appropriate treatment of risk, compliance, and assurance from internal and external perspectives.

Requirements

• 3-4+ years minimum in IT experience; preferably 3+ years in cybersecurity-related work
• Education must meet one of the following:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field of study or equivalent work experience
  • International Degree equivalency
  • Applicable certification(s) as defined by the leader + 2 years additional experience
  • Associate Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field + 2 years additional experience (two years relevant work experience is equivalent to one year of college)

Pay

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
