IT Risk Analyst
About the role
The IT Risk Analyst plays a crucial role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating IT and cybersecurity risks across HIWIN Corporation. This position collaborates with IT and business teams to enhance security controls, comply with regulatory requirements, and refine risk management strategies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct IT and cybersecurity risk assessments
- Evaluate existing controls and recommend risk mitigation strategies
- Support vulnerability management and system hardening efforts
- Aid in incident response and root cause analysis
- Maintain compliance with security standards and frameworks
- Create risk reports, dashboards, and recommendations
- Review third-party risk and vendor assessments
- Lead cybersecurity awareness and training initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 3–5 years of IT risk, cybersecurity, audit, or related experience
- Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and security frameworks
- Experience with vulnerability management and system hardening
- Ability to support incident response and risk mitigation efforts
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis

Pay
The compensation range for this role is determined based on various factors including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, and prevailing minimum wage, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with an in-person work setting in Huntley, Illinois.
