IT Risk Advisory Staff
About the role
As an IT Risk Advisory Staff at Schneider Downs, you will support day-to-day activities of IT audit engagements for clients, including system development, readiness assessments, and platform reviews across various industries. You will evaluate the design and effectiveness of technology controls throughout the business cycle, manage multiple assessments, and collaborate with a large team. Additionally, you will identify, evaluate, and document IT business risks and general computer and application controls, and participate in closing meetings to present and discuss risk ranking.
Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day activities of IT audit engagements for clients, including system development, readiness assessments, and platform reviews within multiple industries
- Evaluate the design and effectiveness of technology controls throughout the business cycle
- Effectively manage multiple assessments at a time to meet team goals
- Collaborate and work effectively with a large team
- Identify, evaluate, and document IT business risks and general computer and application controls
- Participate in closing meetings to present and discuss risk ranking
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Management Information Systems (MIS), or related field
- Graduation date in 2026 academic year
- A preferred overall GPA of 3.3 (3.0 minimum)
