IT Project Manager II

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead medium to large-scale application and infrastructure projects. This individual will be responsible for planning and executing projects from initiation through completion, coordinating cross-functional technical teams, managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring projects remain aligned with established goals, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria for IT application and infrastructure projects.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including resource allocation, budgets, milestones, dependencies, and risk assessments.
• Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, leadership, and vendors.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide clear updates on progress, risks, issues, and deliverables.
• Lead cross-functional teams including developers, engineers, architects, and QA analysts.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, manage dependencies, and ensure team alignment with project objectives.
• Identify and address project risks, issues, and roadblocks to keep initiatives on track.
• Ensure projects follow established project management methodologies and SDLC processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience independently managing medium to large-sized IT projects within the banking industry.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.

Qualifications

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification (Nice-to-Have).
• PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification (Nice-to-Have).
