IT Project Manager I

Brief Description

Lead and manage small to medium IT development projects from inception through post-release support while bridging the gap between business needs and IT solutions within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and closure of small to medium projects of moderate complexity, taking ownership of project deliverables and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Work closely with stakeholders, including business users and IT teams, to analyze and document business problems and opportunities.
• Gather, document, and communicate defined business problems and detailed requirements to the development team.
• Assist in analyzing and evaluating existing business processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and the IT team.
• Ensure a clear understanding of requirements and provide regular updates on project progress, milestones, and potential risks.
• Work closely with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to create test plans and test cases based on business requirements.
• Participate in testing activities to ensure the final solution meets the specified criteria.
• Support senior project managers/business analysts when needed.
• Provide software product support to key-level Kelly Benefits managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, management information technology or a closely related field, plus:
• 2 years of experience in business analysis within the Information Technology field;
• 2 years of experience in computer systems in a Windows-based environment;
• 1 years of experience working in a .Net environment;
• 2 years of experience in SDLC, SQL, and Agile methodologies;
• 2 years of experience using project management methodologies and tools.
