About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing large-scale IT infrastructure and data center projects. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines are met and quality standards are maintained.
Responsibilities
- Manage project scope, schedule, and budget
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, facilities, and procurement
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Oversee project documentation and reporting
- Resolve issues and risks proactively to minimize impact on project timelines
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management or related field
- Experience with data center operations and IT infrastructure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven ability to manage complex projects
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies
- Knowledge of data center technologies and best practices
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Experience with data center automation tools
- Understanding of cloud computing and virtualization technologies
